  1. B&P_Pro 2.5 Installation
  2. -------------------------------
  3. Note: Floppy disk users must have a blank disk on hand that will
  4.    become the B&P_Pro_Tools disk. There wasn't room on the Tools
  5.    disk to include the .info files, so you won't see any Workbench
  6.    icons after the installation.
  7.  
  8.    The installation procedure can take several minutes.  The
  9.    floppy installation in particular requires quite some time.
  10.  
  11.    The Sunrize Tools are not installed on the floppy installation,
  12.    because there isn't enough room for them on the disk, and
  13.    you need a hard drive to use them anyway.

  15.    It is highly suggested that you run the installation on a
  16.    clean system after performing a warm or cold boot.

  18. 1. Run either the Floppy Install or Hard Disk Install program on
  19.    this disk.
  20.  
  21. 2. The first time you run the floppy or hard disk installation,
  22.    you must enter your name and serial number. After scanning
  23.    the disk, a requester appears. Enter your name and the serial
  24.    number printed on the disk.

  26. 3. The hard drive installation only installs Bars&Pipes
  27.    Professional in the root directory.  This means
  28.    that if you wish to install it in a subdirectory (e.g.
  29.    "Work:Music/") you must install it first into "Work:" and
  30.    then drag the Bars&Pipes Professional drawer icon into the
  31.    Music drawer after the installation is complete.

  33. 4. The installation will then copy the BlueRibbon.library file
  34.    into your Workbench LIBS: directory.  It is important that
  35.    your Workbench disk or hard drive partition have at least 14
  36.    kilobytes of free space for this file.  The MIDI Tools will
  37.    not load if this library is not installed!

  39. 5. The floppy installation will then install the first disk, and
  40.    create a third disk that will contain the Tools.

  42. 6. The hard disk installation installs the new files into the
  43.    Bars&Pipes Professional drawer on your hard drive.
